Terms
The rules for using Camora and paying for it, kept short and in plain words.
- Who we are
- Camora is made by Byte Studio (“we”). By downloading or using the Camora apps or this website, you agree to these terms.
- Using Camora
- Camora is free to use, at home or at work. You may not sell the apps, pass them off as your own, or change them to harm others. You're responsible for what you film and share with Camora, including getting consent from anyone on camera where the law requires it.
- No guarantees
- We work hard to make Camora reliable, but it's provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We can't promise it will work with every phone, computer or video app, or without interruptions.
- Our responsibility
- As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Camora, such as a missed or interrupted call. If we are found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
- Payments
- Paying for Camora is optional and you choose the amount. A payment doesn't unlock any features; Camora works the same with or without one. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who sell on our behalf as the merchant of record, so their terms also apply to the purchase. Prices include taxes where they apply, such as GST in India.
- Refunds
- If you paid by mistake or paid the wrong amount, write to us within 14 days and we'll refund it, minus any fees the payment provider charges and doesn't return.
- Open-source software
- The apps include open-source software, each part under its own license. The licenses are listed in the apps (Settings → About on the phone, Open-source licenses on the computer).
- Changes
- We may update these terms as Camora changes. The date at the top shows the latest version; using Camora after an update means you accept it.
- Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is for the courts of India.
